Roma - Inter
-
Sunday 20.30
-
Stadio Olimpico, Rome
-
Roma return after the international break in complete dissaray. A terrible season has seen Roma only pick up 7 points in 6 games thus already probably ruling the Giallorossi out of the title race. A dismail 1 - 0 loss to Siena coupled with two red cards for Panucci and Mexes made it a complete disaster.
-
Inter however have started fairly strongly despite not convincing in a number of games and losing the Milan derby, they look fairly settled with Jose Mourinho and are already up at the top of the table.
-
-
Roma welcome back Pizarro, Juan and Totti is expected to play somepart, while Baptista is out for a number of weeks along with Cassetti, Panucci and Mexes are both serving suspensions for this match after their red cards against Siena. Mexes serves a one game ban while Mexes 3.
-
Inter have very few injury problems with Mancini most likely to play against his old club, while Chivu most probably will not due to injury. Inter will once again field their 3 man attack with Ibrahimovic, Mancini and Qauresma.
-
-
The Giallorossi have huge defence problems after both Mexes and Panucci got sent off. Not only has Roma's back line been incredibly shaky, Loria and Juan who will play on Sunday doesn't inspire many Roma fans. Aquilani and Vucinic who both scored international this week will both start. While Pizarro will make his return back to the starting line-up. Riise will start on the left again, while Cicihno will play on the right. Taddei, Perrotta and Aquilani will make up the familiar midfield behind Vucinic.
-
Roma are in terrible form and from normal neutral fans this should be a win for Inter, but Roma been Roma, anything can happen. Although Inter know if they do win, Roma will no longer have a realastic chance of the winning the Scudetto thus already defeating one of their main rivals for the Scudetto. Roma need a boos and a push and it may come against Inter on Sunday at home, depending on which Roma turns up.

Man to Watch
-
-
Alberto Aquilani - Hard to say really, considering Roma's terrible form, but the two goal man for Italy takes it this week. Hopefully he can continue his form onto what is an important match,
